Description

Indulge in the ultimate fusion of flaky croissant and rich almond flavors with these irresistible Almond Croissant Blondies. A decadent homemade treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1 cup chopped roasted almonds

– 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped almonds.

4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking pan, creating an even layer.

5. Spread the almond blondie batter evenly over the crescent dough.

6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. Allow the blondies to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store the Almond Croissant Blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For extra flavor, you can add a drizzle of melted chocolate or a dusting of powdered sugar on top.
