Ingredients
– 6 cups peeled, sliced apples (about 6-8 medium apples)
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 cup old-fashioned oats
– 1 cup packed brown sugar
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. – In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with 1/2 teaspoon of the cinnamon.
3. – In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. – Spread the apple slices in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the apples.
5. – Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

Notes
