Ingredients

– 6 cups peeled and sliced apples (about 6-8 medium apples)

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 1 cup old-fashioned oats

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. – In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.

3. – Transfer the apple mixture to a 9-inch baking dish.

4. – In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

5. – Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the apples.
