Description

Ingredients

– 12 Medjool dates, pitted

– 4 oz goat cheese, softened

– 6 slices bacon, cut in half


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. – Cut a slit down one side of each date and remove the pit.

3. – Stuff each date with a small amount of goat cheese.

4. – Wrap a half slice of bacon around each stuffed date, securing with a toothpick.

5. – Arrange the bacon-wrapped dates on a baking sheet.

6. – Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.

7. – Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy twist, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to the goat cheese. These can also be made ahead and baked just before serving.
