Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of autumn with these Baked Apples stuffed with a delicious blend of tangy feta cheese, sweet honey, and tart dried cranberries. This quick and easy recipe is the perfect healthy dessert or side dish to enjoy on a cozy evening.

Ingredients

– 4 medium-sized apples, cored and hollowed out

– 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

– 1/4 cup honey

– 1/4 cup dried cranberries

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. – Core the apples and use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out the centers, leaving a 1/2-inch thick shell.

3. – In a small bowl, mix together the feta cheese, honey, dried cranberries, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

4. – Spoon the filling mixture into the hollowed-out apples, packing it in tightly.

5. – Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the filling is hot and bubbly.

6. – Serve the Baked Apples warm, drizzled with any remaining honey or juices from the baking dish.

Notes

– For a crunchy topping, sprinkle the filled apples with chopped walnuts or pecans before baking.

– Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent dessert.

– Store any leftover Baked Apples in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
