Ingredients
– 8 slices sourdough bread
– 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced
– 8 ounces fontina cheese, sliced
– 1 cup fresh blackberries
– 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
1. Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
3. Place four slices of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet. Top each slice with brie and fontina cheese, followed by a generous handful of fresh blackberries.
4. Drizzle the blackberries with balsamic glaze.
5. Place the remaining four slices of bread, butter-side up, on top to form the sandwiches.
6. Cook the grilled cheese for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden-brown and the cheese is melted.
