Description

These Banana Bread Donuts are a delightfully moist and flavorful treat, combining the comforting taste of banana bread with the irresistible texture of donuts. They’re quick and easy to make, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings in no time.

Ingredients

– 2 ripe bananas, mashed

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 egg

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.

2. – In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

3. – Add the granulated sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Whisk until well combined.

4. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

5. – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.

6. – Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each well about 3/4 full.

7. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8. – Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use ripe, spotty bananas for maximum flavor. You can also dip the cooled donuts in a simple glaze or coat them in cinnamon-sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.
