Ingredients
– 8 oz. BBQ pulled pork
– 4 slices cheddar cheese
– 8 slices sourdough or brioche bread
– 2 tbsp. butter, softened
Instructions
1. – Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
2. – Butter one side of each slice of bread.
3. – Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in the preheated pan.
4. – Top each slice with 2 oz. of BBQ pulled pork and 1 slice of cheddar cheese.
5. – Place the remaining bread slices, butter-side up, on top to create a sandwich.
6. – Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
7. – Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make two sandwiches.
8. – Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a crispier exterior, brush the top and bottom of the sandwiches with a small amount of butter or oil before grilling. Experiment with different cheeses, such as pepper jack or gouda, to customize the flavor.
