Description
These tender, high-protein beef bites are simmered to perfection in a rich, garlic-infused butter sauce for an easy, flavor-packed slow cooker meal.
Ingredients
– 2 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter
– 6 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tsp dried thyme
– 1 tsp dried rosemary
– 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. – In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef cubes on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to a slow cooker.
2. – In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
3. – Pour the garlic butter sauce over the beef in the slow cooker. Add the Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
4. – Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is very tender.
5. – Serve the garlic butter beef bites over rice, mashed potatoes, or with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
Notes
– For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow some of the liquid to evaporate.
– Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste.
– These beef bites also make a great appetizer or party dish.
