– 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and granulated sugar.
2. Add the warm milk, softened butter, egg, and salt. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle.
6. Spread the blueberries evenly over the dough, then roll it up tightly into a log.
7. Cut the log into 8 equal pieces and place them in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
8. In a small bowl, mix together the sliced almonds, brown sugar, and melted butter. Sprinkle the almond streusel topping over the babka.
9. Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
10. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use fresh or frozen blueberries. Frozen blueberries may release more juice, so you can reduce the amount used if desired. The almond streusel can be customized with different nuts or spices to your liking.
