Ingredients
– 1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cubed (about 4 cups)
– 3 medium Honeycrisp apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
– 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
– Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
– In a large bowl, combine the cubed butternut squash, sliced apples, melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Toss until the ingredients are well coated.
– Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out in an even layer.
– Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the squash is tender and the top is lightly browned.
