Ingredients
– 4 medium apples, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch thick rings
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Toss gently until the apple slices are evenly coated.
3. Melt the butter in a large, oven-safe skillet or baking dish over medium heat.
4. Arrange the sugared apple slices in a single layer in the skillet or baking dish.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the edges are caramelized, flipping the slices halfway through.
