– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 cup old-fashioned oats
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

5. – Serve warm, with a drizzle of caramel sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Notes
– For a thicker caramel sauce, you can make your own by cooking 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup butter in a saucepan until thickened.
– Experiment with different apple varieties for different flavors and textures.
– This can be made in advance and reheated before serving.
