Description

Indulge in the ultimate creamy, melty cheese fondue that’s perfect for dipping crusty bread, roasted veggies, and more! This easy recipe comes together in just 20 minutes for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or cozy dinner.

Ingredients

– 1 pound Swiss cheese, grated

– 1 pound Gruyère cheese, grated

– 1 clove garlic, minced

– 1 cup dry white wine

– 1 tablespoon cornstarch

– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

– 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine the grated Swiss and Gruyère cheeses.

2. Add the garlic, white wine, cornstarch, black pepper, and nutmeg. Stir until the cheeses are completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3. Transfer the fondue to a fondue pot or slow cooker set to low to keep warm.

4. Serve immediately with crusty bread, roasted vegetables, cured meats, and other desired dippers.

Notes

– For a thicker fondue, add an extra teaspoon of cornstarch.

– Try swapping in different cheese varieties like Emmental or Comté.

– Add a splash of kirsch or brandy for extra flavor.
