Description
Indulge in the ultimate flavor sensation with these Cheesy Seafood Tortilla Bombs! Creamy, cheesy seafood goodness is wrapped in a crispy tortilla shell, creating an irresistible appetizer that’s perfect for parties or game day.
Ingredients
– 1 pound cooked and diced seafood (such as shrimp, crab, or a combination)
– 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup sour cream
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a little heat)
– Salt and black pepper to taste
– 12 small tortillas (6-inch)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and diced seafood, shredded cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
3. Place a tortilla on a clean surface. Scoop about 2-3 tablespoons of the seafood mixture into the center of the tortilla. Fold the tortilla over the filling and use your fingers to gently press and seal the edges to create a half-moon shape.
4. Arrange the filled tortilla bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy.
6. Serve the Cheesy Seafood Tortilla Bombs warm, with your favorite dipping sauces or garnishes, and enjoy!
Notes
For a creamier filling, you can add an extra tablespoon or two of sour cream. You can also experiment with different types of cheese or add some chopped fresh herbs to the mixture. These tortilla bombs can be made ahead and reheated in the oven before serving.
