Description

These Chewy Brown Sugar Maple Cookies are a delightful treat that combines the rich, caramelized flavor of brown sugar with the warm sweetness of maple syrup. With a soft, chewy texture and a crisp outer edge, they’re sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup packed brown sugar

– 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. – In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

3. – Add the maple syrup and mix until well combined.

4. – Gradually stir in the flour until a dough forms.

5. – Scoop the dough by the tablespoonful and place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.

6. – Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

7. – Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a chewier texture, bake the cookies for a minute or two less. For a crispier cookie, bake them for a minute or two longer. Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
