Description

Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with these irresistible Chicken Pillows. Tender, juicy chicken is wrapped in a flaky, golden pastry crust for a delightful bite-sized treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon dried parsley

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a medium bowl, combine the diced chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.

3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut into 12 equal squares.

4. Place a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each square.

5. Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle, and press the edges to seal.

6. Place the Chicken Pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

7. Brush the top of each Chicken Pillow with the beaten egg.

8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and flaky.

9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a spicier twist, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture. Leftover Chicken Pillows can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
