Description

Indulge in the ultimate sweet and salty treat with this homemade Chocolate Caramel Marshmallow Whiskey & Bacon Bark. This easy-to-make confection features layers of rich chocolate, gooey caramel, fluffy marshmallow, and crispy bacon pieces, all infused with a subtle whiskey flavor.


Ingredients

– 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

– 1 cup store-bought caramel sauce

– 1 cup mini marshmallows

– 2 tablespoons whiskey

– 6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled


Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.

2. In a double boiler or microwave, melt the chopped chocolate, stirring occasionally, until smooth.

3. Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly to the edges.

4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until the chocolate is set.

5. Spread the caramel sauce evenly over the chocolate layer.

6. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows over the caramel.

7. Drizzle the whiskey over the marshmallows.

8. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon pieces over the top.

9. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until the bark is completely set.

10. Remove the bark from the pan using the parchment paper overhang and break or cut into pieces.

11. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

– For a stronger whiskey flavor, increase the amount to 3-4 tablespoons.

– Substitute rum or bourbon for the whiskey, if desired.

– Top with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt for an extra touch of salty-sweet balance.
