Description

These Chocolate Tuxedo Stuffed Dates are a decadent and easy-to-make homemade treat that combines the rich, creamy flavor of chocolate with the natural sweetness of dates. Perfect for a party, a quick snack, or an indulgent dessert.

Ingredients

– 12 Medjool dates, pitted

– 1/2 cup high-quality dark chocolate, melted

– 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Slice each date lengthwise and gently remove the pit, leaving the date intact.

3. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring frequently until smooth.

4. Dip each pitted date into the melted chocolate, coating it completely.

5. Place the chocolate-dipped dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

6. If desired, lightly dust the chocolate-coated dates with unsweetened cocoa powder.

7. Refrigerate the stuffed dates for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.

8. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For a variation, try stuffing the dates with a small piece of toasted almond or a sprinkle of sea salt before dipping in chocolate. These Chocolate Tuxedo Stuffed Dates can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
