Description

These Christmas Brownies are the ultimate holiday treat – rich, fudgy, and packed with festive flavor. Perfect for parties, gift-giving, or a cozy night in, these easy-to-make brownies will become a new Christmas tradition.

Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 2 cups white granulated sugar

– 4 large eggs

– 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1 tsp ground cinnamon

– 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray.

2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.

3. 3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.

4. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

5. 5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.

6. 6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.

7. 7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

8. 8. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, dust the cooled brownies with powdered sugar or drizzle with a simple glaze. You can also add chopped walnuts, pecans, or white chocolate chips to the batter.
