Description

This Christmas Chex Mix is the perfect easy-to-make holiday snack! Featuring a sweet and salty blend of Chex cereal, melted butter, brown sugar, and festive mix-ins like M&Ms, pretzels, and nuts, it’s a crowd-pleasing treat that’s ready in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

– 6 cups Chex cereal (any variety)

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup M&Ms (holiday colors)

– 1 cup pretzel twists

– 1/2 cup roasted and salted nuts (such as almonds or pecans)

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).

2. – In a large bowl, combine the Chex cereal, melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated.

3. – Spread the mixture onto a large baking sheet.

4. – Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until the Chex Mix is lightly toasted and fragrant.

5. – Remove from the oven and stir in the M&Ms, pretzels, and nuts.

6. – Let the Chex Mix cool completely before serving.

Notes

– For a sweeter version, increase the brown sugar to 3/4 cup.

– Substitute different nuts or mix-ins based on your preference.

– Store the Chex Mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
