Description

Indulge in the ultimate Christmas cupcake – a moist, flavor-packed treat that’s ready in just 2 minutes! These festive cupcakes feature a delicious vanilla cake base and a creamy, swirled frosting, all topped with vibrant red and green sprinkles for a truly holiday-inspired dessert.

Ingredients

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/2 cup milk

– 1 cup buttercream frosting

– Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.

2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. – In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.

4. – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, mixing just until combined.

5. – Scoop the batter evenly into the prepared muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.

6. – Bake for 18-20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.

7. – Once cooled, frost the cupcakes with the buttercream and top with Christmas sprinkles.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients. The cupcakes can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
