Description

Indulge in the rich, creamy goodness of this easy homemade Christmas Fudge. With its irresistible flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture, this festive treat is perfect for gift-giving, holiday parties, or enjoying with family.

Ingredients

– 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

– 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. – Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides.

2. – In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is melted and smooth, about 5-7 minutes.

3. – Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt until well combined.

4. – Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

5. – Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

6. – Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the fudge out of the pan and cut it into 1-inch squares.

Notes

– For a festive touch, you can add crushed candy canes, chopped walnuts, or a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the fudge before refrigerating.

– Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
