Description

Indulge in the irresistible flavors of Churro Cheesecake Bars, a delightful twist on a classic. These bars feature a buttery, cinnamon-sugar crust with a rich and creamy cheesecake center – the perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in 3/4 cup of sugar and beat until well combined.

3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, 1/2 cup of melted butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon until a thick batter forms.

5. Spread the cinnamon-sugar batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.

6. Carefully spoon the cheesecake batter over the top, spreading it out gently to cover the entire surface.

7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is almost set. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting and serving.

Notes

For a more pronounced churro flavor, you can add a teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the cheesecake batter. Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
