– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and granulated sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
2. Add the flour and salt to the yeast mixture and stir until a shaggy dough forms. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
3. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
4. Preheat oven to 425°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
5. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 10-inch rope and arrange on the prepared baking sheets.
6. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Brush the pretzel sticks generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, rotating the baking sheets halfway, until the pretzel sticks are golden brown.
8. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a sweeter coating, increase the amount of brown sugar and cinnamon. You can also try different spice blends, like pumpkin pie spice or apple pie spice. These pretzel sticks are best enjoyed the same day, but you can store them in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
