Description

Indulge in the delightful fusion of flavors and visuals with this Coquette Rosa Pizza featuring a creamy rosa sauce and elegantly arranged prosciutto roses. This homemade masterpiece is perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy date night at home.

Ingredients

– 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade

– 1 cup rosa sauce (or tomato sauce)

– 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

– 6 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.

3. Spread the rosa sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.

4. Arrange the slices of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

5. Take the prosciutto slices and roll them into rose shapes, placing them evenly over the cheese.

6. Drizzle the pizza with olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

7. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a more vibrant pink color, you can use a few drops of food coloring in the rosa sauce. Experiment with different cheese combinations or add fresh basil leaves for extra flavor.
