Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 8 slider buns, split
– 8 slices cheddar cheese
– 8 slices cooked bacon
– 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
1. – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. – In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
3. – Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small, flat patties.
4. – Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they’re cooked through.
5. – Place the cooked patties on the bottom halves of the slider buns. Top each one with a slice of cheddar cheese.
6. – Return the sliders to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
7. – Remove the sliders from the oven and top each one with a slice of crispy bacon and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.
8. – Serve the Cowboy Sliders immediately, with any additional toppings or dipping sauces on the side.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce or a pinch of garlic powder to the beef mixture before shaping the patties. You can also experiment with different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or smoked cheddar. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
