Ingredients
– 12 wonton wrappers, cut into triangles
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 6 oz lump crab meat, drained and flaked
– 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. In a skillet, fry the wonton wrapper triangles in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per batch. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
2. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese and crab meat until well combined.
3. Arrange the fried wonton chips on a serving plate or baking sheet. Top with the crab rangoon mixture, shredded cheese, and green onions.
4. Bake at 375°F for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Serve the Crab Rangoon Nachos warm, with additional green onions and a side of sweet chili sauce or ranch dressing for dipping, if desired.
Notes
For a spicier version, add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the crab mixture. You can also substitute shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese for the mozzarella.
