Description

Elevate your holiday gatherings with this incredibly creamy and festive Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s bursting with tangy-sweet flavor and comes together in a snap. Serve this easy appetizer with crackers, bread, or as part of a larger charcuterie board.

Ingredients

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

– 1 tsp lemon zest

– 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. – In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.

2. – Add the chopped cranberries, sugar, thyme, lemon zest, and salt. Mix until well combined.

3. – Transfer the cranberry cream cheese spread to a serving bowl or spread it onto a plate. Garnish with additional fresh thyme, if desired.

4. – Serve immediately with crackers, bread, or as part of a charcuterie board. Enjoy!

Notes

For a tangier flavor, use only 2-3 tbsp of sugar. You can also add a splash of brandy or orange liqueur for an extra festive twist. The spread can be made in advance and refrigerated for up to 5 days.
