Description

Elevate any dish with this quick and easy Creole Butter! Infused with bold Creole seasoning, garlic, and fresh herbs, this savory compound butter adds instant flavor to meats, seafood, vegetables, and more.

Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 2 tablespoons Creole seasoning

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

– 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, Creole seasoning, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and lemon zest. Mix well until fully incorporated.

2. Lay a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap on a clean work surface. Scoop the seasoned butter onto the center of the paper and shape into a log, approximately 1-inch thick.

3. Wrap the log tightly in the parchment or plastic and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

4. When ready to use, slice the Creole butter into rounds or pats and serve over hot meats, seafood, vegetables, or bread.

Notes

– For a spicier butter, increase the amount of Creole seasoning.

– The Creole butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or frozen for several months.

– Try stirring the Creole butter into mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta for a quick flavor boost.
