Description
Crispy Chilli Beef is a delicious and easy-to-make Asian-inspired dish that’s bursting with bold flavors. Tender beef is coated in a savory, slightly sweet, and spicy sauce, resulting in a perfectly crispy and caramelized texture that’s irresistible.
Ingredients
– 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 2 tbsp rice vinegar
– 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
– 1 tbsp brown sugar
– 2 tsp sesame oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
– 2 green onions, sliced
– 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
1. – In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Toss to coat the beef evenly.
2. – Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
3. – Working in batches if needed, add the marinated beef to the hot wok and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is crispy and caramelized.
4. – Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the wok and cook for an additional 1 minute, stirring constantly.
5. – Remove the wok from the heat and stir in the sliced green onions.
6. – Serve the Crispy Chilli Beef immediately, over steamed rice or noodles, if desired.
Notes
For a more intense chili flavor, increase the amount of chili garlic sauce. You can also add a splash of water or broth to the marinade if you prefer a saucier consistency.
