Description

This easy Crockpot Green Bean Casserole is the ultimate comfort food side dish. Tender green beans in a creamy, savory sauce, topped with crispy fried onions – it’s a classic that the whole family will love.


Ingredients

– 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained

– 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

– 1/2 cup milk

– 2 tbsp soy sauce

– 1 can (6 oz) French fried onions


Instructions

1. – Spray the inside of a crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.

2. – In the crockpot, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and soy sauce. Stir until well mixed.

3. – Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until the green beans are tender.

4. – When ready to serve, top the casserole with the French fried onions.

Notes

– For a creamier texture, use 3/4 cup milk.

– Add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese for extra flavor.

– Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or thyme.
