Description

Elevate your meals with this easy, homemade Dehydrated Tzatziki Seasoning Mix. This versatile blend combines the bright, tangy flavors of Greek tzatziki into a convenient, shelf-stable seasoning that can be sprinkled on everything from grilled meats and veggies to dips and spreads.

Ingredients

– 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, dehydrated

– 2 tablespoons dried dill

– 1 tablespoon garlic powder

– 1 tablespoon onion powder

– 1 tablespoon dried parsley

– 1 teaspoon dried mint

– 1 teaspoon lemon zest

– 1 teaspoon sea salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients and stir well to fully incorporate.

2. Spread the seasoning mixture in an even layer on a baking sheet or dehydrator tray.

3. Dehydrate at 135°F for 6-8 hours, or until the mixture is completely dry and crumbly.

4. Once fully dehydrated, transfer the seasoning to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.

Notes

– For a creamier texture, use full-fat Greek yogurt.

– Adjust the spice levels to your personal taste preferences.

– Try using the seasoning as a rub for grilled meats, or sprinkle it on roasted vegetables, dips, and more.
