Description

Tender, slow-roasted beef, melty Swiss cheese, and a quick homemade au jus dipping sauce make these French Dip Sliders an irresistible appetizer or snack. Perfect for game days, parties, or anytime you need a comforting and crowd-pleasing finger food.

Ingredients

– 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef

– 12 slider buns, split in half

– 6 slices Swiss cheese, halved

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 1 cup beef broth

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Arrange the slider buns, cut-side up, on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with the melted butter.

3. Bake the buns for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly toasted.

4. In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

5. Reduce the heat to low and keep the au jus dipping sauce warm.

6. Divide the roast beef evenly among the bottom halves of the slider buns. Top each with a half-slice of Swiss cheese.

7. Place the slider sandwiches back in the oven for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

8. Remove the sliders from the oven and serve immediately, with the warm au jus dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For even more flavor, you can toast the slider buns before assembling the sandwiches. You can also experiment with different types of cheese, such as provolone or cheddar. The au jus dipping sauce can be made ahead of time and reheated when ready to serve.
