Description

Elevate your day with this quick and easy Espresso Tonic with Yuzu Foam – a delightful blend of bold coffee and zesty citrus foam that’s perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up or sophisticated cocktail.

Ingredients

– 2 shots freshly brewed espresso

– 4 oz tonic water

– 2 tbsp fresh yuzu juice

– 1/4 cup whole milk

– 1 tbsp white sugar

– Yuzu zest, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Brew 2 shots of espresso and set aside.

2. In a small saucepan, combine the yuzu juice and milk. Heat over medium, stirring frequently, until steaming and slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Remove the yuzu-milk mixture from the heat and use a milk frother or whisk to create a thick, foamy texture.

4. Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the espresso over the ice, then top with the tonic water.

5. Spoon the yuzu foam over the top of the espresso tonic. Garnish with a light dusting of yuzu zest, if desired.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This espresso tonic can be enjoyed as a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up or elevated into a sophisticated cocktail. For an added boost, you can also add a shot of vodka or gin.
