Description

Indulge in the irresistible flavors of these authentic Filipino Pork BBQ Skewers. Tender, juicy pork is marinated in a savory-sweet sauce and grilled to perfection, resulting in a finger-licking good appetizer or main dish.


Ingredients

– 2 pounds pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes

– 1/2 cup soy sauce

– 1/4 cup white vinegar

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 4 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

– Wooden or metal skewers


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the pork, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the pork. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours.

2. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

3. Thread the marinated pork onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

4. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and caramelized on the outside.

Notes
