Description

Indulge in the sweet, vibrant flavor of Freeze-Dried Strawberry Buttercream – a luscious, easy-to-make frosting that’s perfect for cakes, cupcakes, and more!

Ingredients

– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

– 4 cups powdered sugar

– 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, finely ground

– 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3. Add the ground freeze-dried strawberries, heavy cream (or milk), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Beat on medium-high speed for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the frosting is well combined and has a light, airy texture.

4. Use the Freeze-Dried Strawberry Buttercream immediately to frost cakes, cupcakes, or other desserts. Enjoy!

Notes

– For a thicker consistency, add less cream/milk. For a thinner, more spreadable frosting, add a bit more.

– Adjust the amount of freeze-dried strawberries to suit your desired level of strawberry flavor.

– Refrigerate any leftover buttercream in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
