Description

Enjoy the perfect combination of crisp French bread, melty cheese, and your favorite toppings with this easy French Bread Pizza (Freezer Prep) recipe. Prepare ahead and freeze for a quick and delicious meal anytime!

Ingredients

– 1 loaf of French bread, sliced in half lengthwise

– 1 cup tomato sauce

– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 cup sliced pepperoni (or your favorite toppings)

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Place the sliced French bread halves on a baking sheet, cut-side up.

3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the bread halves, leaving a small border around the edges.

4. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the sauce, then top with the pepperoni (or your desired toppings).

5. Sprinkle the dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the top.

6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.

7. Let the pizzas cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

To freeze for later, prepare the pizzas up to step 5, then wrap tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and freeze. When ready to serve, bake the frozen pizzas directly from the freezer at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is crisp.
