Description

Indulge in the ultimate seafood sandwich with this Fried Shrimp Burger. Tender, juicy shrimp are coated in a crispy breading and nestled between a soft brioche bun, creating a flavor-packed and satisfying burger experience.

Ingredients

– 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 2 eggs, beaten

– 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 4 brioche buns, toasted

– Lettuce, tomato, and condiments of your choice

Instructions

1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.

2. In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.

3. Season the shrimp with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

4. Dredge the shrimp in the flour, dip in the egg, and then coat with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

5. In a large skillet or air fryer, heat 1/2 inch of oil over medium-high heat.

6. Fry the breaded shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

7. Drain the fried shrimp on a paper towel-lined plate.

8. Assemble the fried shrimp burgers by placing the shrimp patties on the toasted brioche buns and top with your desired toppings.

Notes

For a healthier option, you can bake the breaded shrimp in the oven at 400°F for 12-15 minutes. Serve the fried shrimp burgers with a side of crispy fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
