Ingredients
– 1 cup tequila
– 1/2 cup blue curacao
– 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
– 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, sprinkle the gelatin over the tequila and let stand for 5 minutes to soften.
2. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin is completely dissolved, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in the blue curacao and lime juice until well combined.
4. Carefully pour the mixture into shot glasses or a lightly greased baking pan.
5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
6. Serve chilled, garnished with lime wedges and fresh mint if desired.
Notes
For a thicker consistency, use 3 envelopes of gelatin. You can also pour the mixture into popsicle molds for frozen margarita pops.
