Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. 2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
3. 3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press the perforations to seal, forming a large rectangle.
4. 4. Spread the cooked ground beef evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
5. 5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
6. 6. Starting from the short side, tightly roll up the dough jelly-roll style, pressing to seal the edge.
7. 7. Cut the roll into 8 equal pieces and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
8. 8. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the tops of the rollups with the garlic butter.
9. 9. Bake for 18-20 minutes, until the dough is golden brown.
10. 10. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
– For extra flavor, try adding other toppings like sautéed onions, pickles, or a drizzle of barbecue sauce.
– If you prefer a crispier exterior, broil the rollups for 1-2 minutes after baking.
– Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated in the oven or microwave.
