Ingredients
– 1 loaf sourdough bread
– 8 oz brie cheese, cut into slices
– 1 cup fresh cranberries
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp fresh chopped herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, parsley)
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. – Slice the sourdough bread in half horizontally to create a top and bottom piece.
3. – In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. – Spread the melted butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
5. – Sprinkle the garlic-herb mixture over the buttered surfaces.
6. – Layer the brie cheese slices onto the bottom half of the bread. Top with the fresh cranberries.
7. – Place the top half of the bread back on and press gently to secure.
8. – Wrap the stuffed bread in foil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is warm.
9. – Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
