Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp dried oregano
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
3. 3. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece into a round disc.
4. 4. Place a heaping spoonful of the beef mixture onto the center of each biscuit disc.
5. 5. Wrap the dough around the filling, pinching and sealing the edges to enclose the mixture completely.
6. 6. Place the filled biscuits seam-side down on a baking sheet.
7. 7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
8. 8. Remove from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter or olive oil. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
