Description
Tender, juicy steak bites smothered in a rich and creamy glacier blue cheese sauce. This quick and easy appetizer is perfect for entertaining, game day, or any occasion where you want to impress your guests with a delicious bite-sized treat.
Ingredients
– 1 pound sirloin steak, cubed
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup crumbled glacier blue cheese
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– Salt and black pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, sear the steak cubes over high heat until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer the seared steak to a plate and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the heavy cream. Whisk in the blue cheese, garlic, thyme, and cayenne pepper. Simmer the sauce, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the seared steak bites back to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the blue cheese sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
4. Transfer the Glacier Blue Cheese Steak Bites to a serving platter and garnish with the chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
Serve these Glacier Blue Cheese Steak Bites warm as an appetizer or snack. They also make a delicious topping for mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread. For a creamier sauce, add an extra 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 3 days.
