Description

Indulge in the perfect balance of savory and sweet with this irresistible Goat Cheese & Roasted Apple Flatbread, drizzled with a heavenly cinnamon glaze. The flaky flatbread is topped with creamy goat cheese and tender, caramelized roasted apple slices, creating a mouthwatering and satisfying dish.

Ingredients

– 1 pre-baked flatbread or naan

– 4 oz goat cheese, softened

– 2 medium apples, cored and sliced

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 2 tsp ground cinnamon

– 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a large baking sheet, toss the apple slices with the olive oil and 1 tsp of the cinnamon. Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the apples are tender and lightly caramelized.

3. Spread the softened goat cheese evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border.

4. Arrange the roasted apple slices on top of the goat cheese.

5. In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1 tsp of cinnamon with the honey to create a drizzle.

6. Drizzle the cinnamon-honey mixture over the flatbread.

7. Bake the flatbread for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is crisp.

8. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For a sweeter twist, you can sprinkle a pinch of brown sugar over the apples before roasting. If you prefer a less sweet drizzle, feel free to use less honey.
