Ingredients
– 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– Salt and black pepper to taste
– Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour.
2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
3. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
4. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and slightly charred.
5. Serve the Grilled Cajun Shrimp Skewers immediately, garnished with fresh parsley or lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
For best results, use large, fresh shrimp and soak the wooden skewers in water before using to prevent them from burning. Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper to suit your desired level of spiciness.
