Description

Indulge in the irresistible combination of sweet Hawaiian rolls and melty cheese in this easy-to-make Hawaiian Roll Grilled Cheese. Perfect for a quick lunch or satisfying snack.

Ingredients

– 8 Hawaiian rolls, sliced in half horizontally

– 8 slices cheddar cheese

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

1. Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat.

2. Spread the softened butter evenly on the cut sides of the Hawaiian rolls.

3. Place the bottom halves of the rolls buttered-side down on the preheated griddle or skillet.

4. Top each bottom half with a slice of cheddar cheese.

5. Place the top halves of the rolls, buttered-side up, on top of the cheese.

6. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

7. Carefully remove the grilled cheese sandwiches from the heat and serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispier exterior, brush the tops of the sandwiches with a bit of additional melted butter before grilling. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as Swiss or Provolone, to suit your taste preferences.
