These Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza Sliders are the ultimate game day or party appetizer. Soft, pillowy buns are topped with melty cheese, savory pepperoni, and a drizzle of sweet and spicy hot honey for a flavor explosion in every bite.
Ingredients
– 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls, split in half horizontally
– 24 slices pepperoni
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup honey
– 2 tablespoons hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
– 2 tablespoons butter, melted
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Top each roll with 2 slices of pepperoni and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and hot sauce. Drizzle the hot honey mixture over the cheese.
4. Place the top halves of the rolls on the sliders.
5. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and Italian seasoning. Brush the tops of the rolls with the seasoned butter.
6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
7. Serve the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza Sliders warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, try using different types of cheese, such as provolone or cheddar. You can also adjust the amount of hot sauce to suit your desired level of spice.
