Description

Ingredients

– 8 soft dinner rolls, split in half

– 8 slices deli meat (such as turkey, ham, or roast beef)

– 8 slices cheese (such as cheddar, Swiss, or provolone)

– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. 2. Arrange the split dinner rolls on a baking sheet.

3. 3. Place a slice of deli meat and a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each roll.

4. 4. Brush the top halves of the rolls with the melted butter and sprinkle with the Italian seasoning.

5. 5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are lightly toasted.

6. 6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, you can also brush the bottom halves of the rolls with a bit of the melted butter before adding the fillings. Experiment with different types of deli meats and cheeses to find your favorite combination.
