Ingredients
– 3 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1 cup milk
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. – Place the cubed potatoes in the Instant Pot and add 1 cup of water.
2. – Secure the lid and set the Instant Pot to Manual or Pressure Cook mode for 5 minutes.
3. – Once the cooking time is up, quick release the pressure.
4. – Drain the potatoes and return them to the Instant Pot.
5. – Add the milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
6. – Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
7. – Serve hot and enjoy!

– For extra richness, add an additional 2 tbsp of butter.
